COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Lately, our community has been facing an invisible enemy – coronavirus. We see a lot of people around the globe struggling with coronavirus (COVID-19) and the USA is not an exception. The unexpected spread of this disease continues to disrupt many aspects of our everyday lives and has caused many changes in the managing of our businesses due to quarantine measures.

The virus is presenting enormous challenges to the plumbing and HVAC industry, as companies work to protect the health of their workers and comply with state rules and regulations while maintaining possible business operations and services.

Our Plumbers are Still Very Much in Business

and continue to serve our customers in these difficult times!

Our team strives to provide a clean and comfortable environment for our customers, therefore our services remain largely unchanged. With the increasing threat of COVID-19, we are requiring our employees to repeatedly wash hands with soap and use hand sanitizer. Good health and safety were always distinctive features of Pomona Valley Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning. We have only changed the frequency of washing and disinfecting to ensure we are reducing the potential for the spread of the coronavirus.

All our dedicated team members have been instructed to closely monitor their health. In case if any of our employees are showing any symptoms of any sickness, they have been advised to seek medical treatment or be self-quarantined and not to report to work until their symptoms have disappeared.

As our faithful customer, you rely on our company when plumbing emergencies happen and we want to ensure you that we are there. However, we’ve taken some precautions to protect your health and the health of our workers.

Updated Hygiene Procedures

• We wash our hands frequently with soap and water.
• We cover our nose and mouth while sneezing and try to wear protective masks at all times in public.
• We will have as few team members working in our office as possible or have them work from their homes.
• Our plumbers go through their sanitization procedures and have protective to wear into those homes that we visit.
• Please, don’t be offended if we don’t shake hands! We will be practicing social distancing at all home visits.

Your Home Hygiene Matters

While being quarantined, make home hygiene a top priority. The germs are likely to spread. It’s important to follow recommendations from the local health authorities.

1. Maintain good airflow in your home by opening windows if the weather permits.
2. Disinfect and clean surfaces frequently. Ensure that your home’s vents and filters are clean.
3. Increase indoor air quality with products that can filter very small particles, eliminate germs, and control humidity. This includes products such as high-efficiency filter systems, air purification systems, humidifiers.
4. Wash your hands!

Lastly, we do not know how the COVID-19 outbreak will impact the global supply chain in the long run. Presently we are not experiencing any product or equipment shortages. We will work directly with our distributors and will notify our customers of any future changes.
